An Ithaca man charged with sexually abusing two children for years was sentenced to five years in state prison on Thursday afternoon at the Tompkins County Court. Ever Benites, 36, plead guilty to charges of first-degree course of sexual misconduct against a child and first-degree sexual abuse in November.
